According to a recently leaked roadmap, The Sims 4 is set to unveil its next expansion pack on September 4, 2025, with a special in-game event kicking off later that month on September 23. If the information is accurate, the highly anticipated expansion—titled Adventure Awaits—will officially launch on October 2, 2025, accompanied by free updates and new creator kits.

Despite being more than ten years old, The Sims 4 continues to evolve with fresh content. The most recent expansion, Enchanted by Nature, dropped in July 2025, followed by two smaller add-on kits. Many fans assumed the next major release would be months away, but the leaked schedule suggests EA is moving faster than expected.

A promotional image tied to the leak has circulated online, appearing to confirm the Adventure Awaits title. Early speculation indicates that the expansion will center on outdoor adventures, with archery rumored as a brand-new skill. Some fans also believe the return of imaginary friends, a nostalgic feature from earlier Sims titles, may make a comeback.

The roadmap’s event structure strongly resembles the Nature’s Calling promotion that launched alongside Enchanted by Nature. Although EA has not commented publicly, screenshots linked to the roadmap match an earlier leak shared by a user named MedievalKiller12, whose account has since been deactivated.

If this leak proves accurate, Simmers won’t have long to wait. The official reveal of Adventure Awaits is expected on September 4, with a worldwide launch following just weeks later in early October.
